A wave of exciting news from COAST

It’s been a big week for the Centre for Ocean Applied Sustainable Technologies—better known as COAST. Based in Victoria, COAST supports innovators and entrepreneurs working in Pacific Canada’s ocean and marine sector.

Alongside a new website, COAST launched its membership program, aiming to bring together a community of individuals and organizations in Canada’s blue economy.

Part of COAST membership will include access to their new co-working facility in Victoria. The COAST Ocean Innovation Hub features “a kitchen, coffee bar, multiple lounge areas, phone booths, meeting rooms, bike parking, and more.”

COAST was founded in 2021 and is an initiative of the South Island Prosperity Partnership.
