Certn represents Victoria as one of Canada’s fastest growing companies

Victoria’s Certn was the only Vancouver Island company to be named to Deloitte’s list of Canada’s 50 fastest-growing tech companies in 2024. Now in its 27th year, the Technology Fast 50 program recognizes the achievements of Canadian tech companies, measured by three-year growth.

Certn provides a tech-first background check and screening solution to companies including Tesla, Interac, WestJet, and Bell.

This is the company’s third year on the list. In 2022, it ranked second. Last year it scooped tenth place, and this year it lands at 32nd.

The Fast 50 listing isn’t Certn’s only recognition in 2024. The company was also rostered on the Globe and Mail’s annual ranking of Canada’s fastest-growing companies, coming in at 63 out of 416 companies.
